Workshops for families
Navigating through the special needs world can often times be overwhelming and frustrating! The Breathe Organization hosts training on relevant topics such as: “How to create an IEP that meets your child’s educational needs”, “Applying for SSI”, “American Sign Language”, “Transitioning to adulthood”, “Applying for guardianship”, “Waivers”, and “Coping and mindset behavioral techniques”.
Special Events
Children and Adults with special needs are often left out of more events than you can imagine! The Breathe organization hosts a variety of events in many different cities such as Respite, Special Needs Proms, Summer Camp, Movie Days, Music Therapy and more. Our goal is that the people with disabilities would be actively involved and have access to everything our communities have to offer.
Special Needs Ministry Training
Did you know that 90% of families with special needs do not attend church? Our team can help you welcome, serve and include children and adults with disabilities and their families in the life of their church. Trainings are on many different topics and are customized for the individual church.
We also develop support groups of parents helping parents.
